What “same day” means at SAFE
We schedule the next open water-heater crew. Morning photo submissions have the best chance of a same-day window. Weekend and after-hours work is quoted when a crew is actually on call—we will not invent overnight coverage.
Photos we need before rolling a truck
Full tank photo, data plate, leak location if any, breaker or gas control, and the path to remove the old tank. Without those, a same-day promise would be a guess.
Limits that block same-day installs
Missing permits when required, unsafe electrical or gas conditions, attic-only access without two-person staging, custom tankless venting, or a size/fuel we do not have on the truck. In those cases we stabilize (shutoffs, advice) and schedule the first real slot.
Does same-day cost more?
The published packages stay $1,199 + tax (40-gal electric) and $1,349 + tax (50-gal electric) for a confirmed standard replacement even when we can do it today. After-hours, weekend or emergency dispatch—if a crew is actually available—is a separate line you see in writing before you accept. We do not inflate the package to look like a “same-day tax.”
